Project results

The expected results are as follows:

• accomplishment of the study of good practices in the EU Member States and the EU institutions and achievement of a higher level of special training of the TRC staff members;

• a developed framework for the functioning at national level of the terminology database including terms from all 20 fields of the EU legislation;

• functioning terminology centre in the field of the acquis communautaire;

• improved knowledge and new skills of the officials from the structures of the central, regional and municipal administrations to work with European legislation acts, as well as the use of harmonised terminology, by the training provided for up to 1 200 officials, to work with the websites of the EU institutions, their terminology databases, as well as to work with the developed terminology database which includes terms from all 20 fields of the acquis in Bulgarian.
